My experience with SGO Fitness has changed my life. From the time I met Sean over a year and a half ago, I have felt supported in my efforts to change and make my dream come true of recreating my physical body. I had always shied away from a 'bootcamp' fearing the worst, a scrutinizing, mean, and loud-yelling instructor. It was a relief to get guidance and support from such a kind, super funny, and generous man. I soon met his other 'better' half and their son, and as my daughter came to almost all events I attended, it was fitting to met a family that lived and breathed what I aspired to learn and teach my kids: how to maintain a healthy, active, and happy lifestyle.
SGO Fitness has created a safe place for me to transform myself. I am always encouraged to do by best, try harder, and embrace new activities. I have never criticized or demeaned for where I have been or how I let myself get to where I was physically. I ran my first 5k this week, thanks to my friends and family's support but in huge part to SGO Fitness and their kind, generous and constant belief in me, and my positive changes. I joined Mission Thin Possible in August 2012. In a few short months, this group has become my 2nd family to encourage me beyond my wildest dreams. I did my 1st 5K with the MTP family at the end of September and four weeks later my 5K time decreased by more than 20 minutes. I am starting to run and feel great! I just want to say that being a part of the MTP team the past few months has been one of the best experiences that I have ever had. Sean is so motivating, and he makes the challenges and workouts very fun. I never thought that I would actually look forward to my workouts, but I sure do every single week. The members of the MTP team are also some of the best people that I've ever known. We all help each other out in so many ways. If one member is down, the others pick up and help motivate them. I'm Bobette Irby, I've been with SGO Fitness/MTP for approx 6 months now. Sean and Sarah Gogarty aren't just your ordinary trainers. If you've ever gone to their SGO Fitness site you will see that they say
"We change lives, not just waistlines." That statement is beyond true!
I have been working out for over a year now and just wasn't getting where I wanted to be. I was running and doing some training on my own. My friend asked me to attend a free bootcamp with her to check out these people she's been working out with for awhile (who can pass up FREE?!!) So I did and let me tell you just in that first time I was hooked. YOu can feel their total commitment to you! So, with that I joined their Mission Thin Possible team and haven't looked back! Now, while you get out of it what you put into it, Sean and Sarah are there EVERY step of the way. They provide you with the tools to succeed! Grocery tours, email support, phone support, lots of fun, bootcamps for any schedule, individual training and the list goes on and on!
I will continue my journey with SGO Fitness/Mission Thin Possible for many bootcamps to come! They have changed my life!

I found SGO fitness through a living social groupon and it was one of the best purchases I've made this year. The SGO bootcamps are a great workout. There is a ton of variety in the activities and the multiple locations and times for the bootcamps. Not to mention Sarah and Sean are an amazing team!! They motivate, educate and support you through each workout and help you keep your eye on the prize, whatever your goals are. After my 1 month of bootcamp I was hooked; my experience through SGO Fitness only got better when I enrolled in the Mission Thin Possible 3 month program which has been great! Even with the group bootcamp workout I always feel like I'm getting a personalize experience as Sarah and Sean really take the time to encourage each and every client. I would 100000% recommend SGO Fitness to anyone looking to get a great workout and have fun while doing it.

SGO Fitness gave me something that gyms couldn’t- motivation, energy, and a sense of excitement about my workout. The boot camp program changed my outlook on getting in shape and introduced me to a great instructor who pushes you to achieve your best. Regardless of your skill level, Sean accommodates you to achieve the most effective and challenging workout. After many years with high cholesterol and high triglycerides, I needed to make a change in my diet and exercise regiment in order to avoid cholesterol medication. After 6 weeks of boot camp workouts and eating a proper diet high in fiber and low in fat, I was amazed at my results! My cholesterol dropped 30pts, my triglycerides dropped over 300pts and my good cholesterol (HDL) increased by 10pts. For the first time in many years, I’m considered to be in the healthy zone rather than at high risk. I couldn’t believe that after 6 years of struggling to improve my health, the combination of bootcamp and a healthy diet were the key to my success. Without the motivation from SGO Fitness. I would have been a great candidate for cholesterol medication at the age of 31 but instead I’ve improved my health and am running my first 5k race. Thanks for the extra years of life Sean; I couldn’t have done it without you!
I have to be honest and say I was a bit intimidated by the word, “Bootcamp” but after a month with Sean I am a convert! The exercise is varied and fun, with a great mix of strength, core training and cardio.
I would encourage everyone to give Bootcamp a try. Sean can scale the exercises up or down to meet your level. He is very positive and involved with students to ensure we are using correct technique and posture. His professional training really shows in his teaching style and knowledge of the body.
I am 50 years old and I am starting to see improved body tone and definition in my body. Better still, I am happier due to all those extra endorphins! You too will see results and feel a positive boost to your stamina and increased sense of well being.
It’s easy to let the stress of the day fade away, working out in a park in, under the stars with SGO Fitness. After all, who can resist jumping rope at twilight and running the track in the cool night air? It will take you back to the freedom of childhood day!
After a month of Bootcamp, I managed 5 hrs non-stop Skiing, where I would have normally needed at least one or two breaks. Definite Improvement in stamina.
Boot camp is never boring and always challenging. Every class makes me push myself a little further and the "workout high" is addictive. Best of all, joining boot camp has ensured that i have consistent workouts and get fresh air after being indoors all day.
Sean is a great motivator and gets to know his clients. He knows how to challenge and push each individual to their full potential. Sean's upbeat personality makes the class enjoyable.

I am in the best shape I have ever been. I am 30yrs old and I never worked out a day in my life. I joined SGO Fitness in May 2010. The first day I could not even run 1/3 of a mile without stopping 4 times gasping for my breath. Four months later I can run 4miles without stopping and I have beat my own mile time twice! I have lost over 20lbs and I have built endurance that I thought I didn't have. I started by going to Boot Camp twice a week. Then I incorporated running twice a week. In addition to this I do a core endurance class once a week. This has definitely worked for me and I am sure it can work for others if they start off slow and commit to at least twice a week bootcamp with SGO Fitness. I am extremely happy with the results. I recommend this to anyone looking for that physical/healthy change. If you have already joined I encourage you to stick with the program because you will see the results.
A family member told me once that if I commit to something for 21 consecutive days it will become a habit. And it has! I went from not working out at all to working out 5-6 days a week. And I absolutely love everything about it. From the weight loss, to the endurance building, and not to forget how healthy and great I feel.
I have signed up for a 5K race in La Jolla, Coast Wise Mile, and this is just the beginning!
